This is your opportunity to make a difference in Bristol! You’ll be working with a group of people aged 16-25 to raise the profile of volunteering & support other young people to take action in their communities. You'll have the chance to learn plenty of new skills, get accredited for your volunteering & have fun at the same time! The team will also go on an all-expenses paid residential trip. You'll need to have about 8 hours free a month & be enthusiastic about volunteering.
All YAT members get involved with publicity and promotion, and with steering the project. Additionally you can choose to focus on either:
> supporting other young people to volunteerÂ
> researching youth volunteering in Bristol
The next intake of new YAT members will be September 2010, but if you are interested you can apply now, and we'll get in touch nearer the time. Application deadline is 31st August 2010.
