Applicants must be aged 16 to 25, not in education, employment and training (NEETs), living in the London Borough of Camden or Islington
Responsibilities are to:
•Motivate and engage children and young people during the arts workshops
•Help to set up and clear away the workshops
•Shadow tutors to deliver creative workshops
•Make suggestions for future creative workshops and activities An interest in Arts, Crafts and Design is an advantage.
No previous qualifications are necessary, although experience of working with children and young people on arts based activities would be valuable.
Lots of imagination, creative drive and enthusiasm. We are looking for volunteers who are available during the daytime Monday -Friday flexiable hours.
This opportunity would suit anyone looking to have a career in teaching or becoming a freelancer tutor with the arts. The opportunity is there for volunteers to become peer educators and deliver workshops within their area of interest.
