The vinvolved team in Cambridge has organised a 'Battle of the Bands' which will take place in April at the Junction. There will be a series of fundraiser 'heats' taking place from February onwards, where we will invite bands through to our final. This is a fundraiser in aid of 'Oxjam'. If you're interested in event management, photography,film, helping out with the sound engineering, being a compere, or being a DJ, we'd also like to hear from you. We need general volunteers to help with the setting up/taking down, and of course bands to compete. The closing date for bands to enter is the 22nd Jan. The winning band will recieve some free studio time, a professional website, a professional photo shoot, to headline a local gig, and more (such as equipment for bands, and playing at a local festival, which have not been confirmed yet). The band featured in the picture are 'Chainstoke' - one of our participating bands. -
