Crunchtime 2010 is an international art event taking place in York from Friday 29 January. It will take the form of exhibitions, actions, talks and projects. Global issues and concerns are increasingly on the minds of everyone. Using a variety of venues as galleries and the city's sites and streets for projects, Crunchtime2010 offers a snapshot of artists’ responses to the issues of living in the early 21st century. Volunteers are needed to help throughout the project: 24th-29th January: Helping set up project/installing 29th January - 6th February: Manning front desk, invigilating, chatting and engaging with public, dealing with enquiries, ensuring smooth running of event, helping artists set up projects Volunteers required 10.00am-4.30pm with one hour lunch break Volunteers will have a helpful and friendly manner, a belief in the project and an interest in art, good time keeping and problem-solving skills. -
