There will be an orientation evening for volunteers on the 4th March. Mainly, we need volunteers to be available on Sunday 14th March to help with the walk on the day.

What? A sponsored walk When? March 14th 2010, 11.30am - 5pm Where? Starting at Kew Green and finishing at Victoria Embankment Gardens Why? Commemorating International Women’s Day + Celebrating mothers around the world on Mothering Sunday + Remembering the Suffragettes’ Mud March of 1907 + Fundraising for Project Muso Ladamunen, the Project for the Empowered Woman = The Walk for Women Who? We want to get 100+ people walking to raise as much money as possible to help women in Mali to fight malaria and other diseases. But in order to do this, we need plenty of volunteers to act as stewards, to hand out drinks and snacks and to help with logistics on the day.
