More info
SPW is currently recruiting for volunteers, aged 18-30, who wish to join their Development Training programme as part of dance4life UK. dance4life is a global movement about HIV which uses dance and music to inspire and unite young people to push back HIV. This is an opportunity to play a key role in development education, broadening young people's understanding of HIV in both a global and UK context. Development Trainers provide an essential part of 'skills4life' - the part of the programme where students are encouraged to apply dance4life in their own communities. Development Trainers receive extensive training before delivering workshops in schools within their local area. There are always at least 2 Development Trainers working together and SPW provides the lesson plans, the resources and the support you need. Development Trainers gain valuable skills in facilitation, delivery of development peer-education and knowledge of how best to engage and inspire young people. -
