Elections take place across England. Anyone aged 11-19 can put themselves forward at www.studentvoice.co.uk The first council meeting will take place in London on Saturday 27th March, so keep the day free! All travel costs will be reimbursed.

We have vacancies in each of the 9 regions of England. What have Council members done? Some of the things last years Council did- - Launched a video competition Manifesto for Change at Portcullis House (next to the Houses of Parliament) - Held the Manifesto for Change awards at the Channel 4 studios - Gone to International Conferences in Maastricht, Vienna, Prague and Brussels - Made speeches in front of MPs, Teaching Unions and educational policy makers - Become peer trainers working in Schools and Colleges across the country. - Plus much more! What do you have to do? As a Council Member you will be expected to- - Attend 3-4 council meetings a year (usually in London) - Keep in contact regularly (around once a week) - Represent young people and their views - Be enthusiastic and excited about Student Voice (or learn to be!) -
