The Co-operative Street Games Young Volunteers has approximately 70 projects across the country that provide a number of sports volunteering opportunities for young people in their local area. Visit www.streetgames.org for details of projects in your local area and the opportunities they have on offer. These include a number of coaching opportunities, sports events support and can include more varied activities where young people develop and delivery their own projects. Young volunteers can get involved in a number of sports. In particular Street Games projects deliver activities like Handball, StreetCheer, Football, Basketball and Dance. All young volunteers receive support and guidance from trained project workers and will have the chance to develop their skills, try new activities and may also have the chance to attend recognized training courses and qualifications.
