Weekdays. We are very flexible. Mon-Fri Homework Club – 4.00 pm – 8.30 pm Mon, Wed & Thur – Creative Arts 6.00pm -9.00 pm Mon-Fri Outreach – 4.00pm-9.00pm

The Project is based around the Moston area of North Manchester and involves young people from ages 13-25 yrs. Moston is a deprived area, low income and high unemployment, many of our service users have experienced social, personal and economic barriers which have placed them in a marginal and disadvantaged position, which has caused low self esteem and lack of confidence. Moston, Newton Heath, Crumpsall, Cheetham, Charleston and Harpurhey. All 6 of these wards (in North Manchester) are in the 10% deprived wards within England and all have very low levels of educational achievement (either no qualification or Level 1 equivalent) compared to Manchester , North West and England. Coolshade offers a variety of creative projects to develop self confidence and build on levels of motivation. We are young people led and believe young people’s voices should be heard. -
