You will be trained on research into funding organisations, making applications, sending out fundraising letters and making follow up phonecalls. You will be involved in setting strategy working with MERU’s fundraising and PR team and with the Trustees, and will be responsible for keeping records of all fundraising activity at MERU. Must be computer literate with experience of creating mail merges in Word and of keeping records and compiling reports from databases. Good creative writing skills would be an advantage. A commitment of at least 8 hours a week is required. After 6 months you will also be offered training in the fundraising industry and help can be given on writing a CV if you wish to apply for fundraising jobs with other charities. -
