vinvolved Bury are looking for 16-25 year olds to organise Frock Swops to raise money for the NSPCC. Frock Swaps are a fab event that people have been organising across the country to raise money for the NSPCC. The idea is dead simple - simply invite friends to bring along any unwanted clothes and get swapping, you can charge an entry fee, organise a raffle and have pampering and things going on too! There's also been variations with people doing handbag events - rather than paying an entry fee people bring along a handbag and then are able to buy new ones! Support is available to help people organise events. You could organise a small event with your friends or a larger event in school / college / work / your community. This is a really fun volunteering opportunity, you get to organise a really interesting event, invite loads of your friends and hopefully pick up some clothes for yourself whilst helping a charity to fundraise. -
