Bury Accessible Natural Greenspace Project. The project is working with four communities one of which is the St Thomas’s Estate, Radcliffe, the other is Redbank Lodge to improve open space for wildlife. One target of the project is to show that the improvements made over the four years of the project, increases the usage of that land. We need to carry out sample surveys of usage before any improvements have occurred. The volunteer activity involves counting the number of people that cross and use the open space over a 2 hour period, noting approximate age, sex and activity as well as which routes they take. For safety reasons volunteers will need to work in pairs. This opportunity is happening on: Weds 12th April 10 - 12pm Saturday 24th April 2 - 4pm
