Coaches are essential lifelines of community sports clubs and are often a forgotten resource. The programme is suitable for anyone interested in sports coaching or running sports organisations. You don’t need to be an experienced sports person to get into coaching, commitment and enthusiasm are more important. Some of the courses in the programme do not even require you to have experience of playing the sport. If you are a club player, casual player, volunteer a parent or teacher or if you would like to be involved in sports coaching then this programme will help you take the first step on the coaching ladder. If you are already involved and hold some kind of qualification, the Coach Education Programme offers higher level awards for you to upgrade your qualification.
