Isn’t it about time you were SEEN and heard? Would you like to: become a trained mentor and mentor other young people. take part in and gain a national recognised ASDAN qualification. organise and deliver weekly sports, arts, drama activities. be trained in role of youth forum, and committee/ role responsibilities. Identify community needs, and establish community involvement projects. Well if so this is the role for you as a Volunteer with our SEEN project, you will be involved in working with young people aged 13-19 who are at risk of committing crime & anti social behaviour, supporting them to establish youth forums, youth organised community involvement projects and a peer mentoring programme. We are looking for young people who can offer a time commitment of a minimum of 16 hours a week for at least 3months. This will mainly be week days but there will be some weekend involved too.
