Supporting our members aged 7 – 10 or 11-16 years in workshops with music, dance & drama leading towards a performance.
When we need you:
- Weekdays
Our projects run termly and we would need volunteers to commit to at least 1 term with us. They would volunteer weekly for the project and see it through from devising to rehearsal to performance. Before starting with the children we would invite volunteers to observe a workshop and then undertake a basic training (which is a fun workshop with our team and other new volunteers) Before each workshop is a meeting to describe what will be happening in each session that everyone is clued in to what’s going on. We’ll also talk through any additional issues that volunteers may need information about. At the end of each workshop is the chance to ask questions and feedback.

Volunteers will creatively support children and young people in Performing Arts workshops, rehearsals and performances. Some of the volunteers will provide the extra support required for children with special needs and disabilities, others will help lead games & activities, others will choreography dances, write songs & music, others will work on the technical aspects of performance such as set, costumes and lighting. Volunteers will work at least once a week with our team of volunteers and experienced workshop facilitators.

We're based in Tottenham. Nearest tube is Seven Sisters and lots of buses come this way too

We meet after school hours during term time & we also run courses in the holidays. Please email if you would like to arrange to visit & get hold of the schedule. There's not enough space to post it here I'm afraid!
