We need people to help with our new Teaming Up Programme, encouraging and supporting disabled people aged 16-25 to take part in activities.

10 week courses will run across Suffolk at different times of the year in Ipswich, Stowmarket, Haverhill, Lowestoft, Sudbury, Felixstowe and Bury St Edmunds, Dates to be confirmed. There will be a co-ordinator from Optua at each activity. Evenings 6-9pm – approximately. Courses will be running across Suffolk and each one is ten weeks. We will generally need someone to help out one day a week for ten weeks.

We need people to help with our new Teaming Up Programme for young disabled people in Suffolk. You will be helping to encourage and support young people with a disability (aged 16-25) to take part in activities in Suffolk. The activities will include bowling, cinema, meals out, sports activities and much more – so you’ll have plenty of fun yourself! There will also be opportunities to volunteer during holiday times in Ipswich. Out of pocket expenses will be paid such as mileage, car parking fees and refreshments. The type of person needs to be outgoing, friendly, energetic and prepared to have some fun. -
