British tennis is often criticised for having a coaching culture rather than a competitive culture, and that's why we need you to come and volunteer as Competition Organisers in your local region. We will train you at no cost and then once trained, you will be able to organise and run all types of competitions: from those that last a few hours to a two week event…the aim is to get more people competing and to improve the standard of competitions. All you need to have is an interest in tennis and organising then you can attend the training. Alongside the training you will be provided with a competition organisers toolkit which provides you with all the tools and resources you need to run competitions and a competition organisers t-shirt so the players know who you are! You will be buddied up with a mentor in your area as well so you always have the support you need. -
