Active Volunteering” is the disability project run as part of community service volunteers and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP). The project aims to recruit disabled people as volunteers and to provide them with volunteering opportunities depending on their skills, interests and support needs.
Main Task
- Assisting development manager with promoting the RSVP Active Volunteering Projects
- Using the internet and other sources to research organisations and link the project to those organisations through marketing and promotion
- Communication with organisations and setting up meetings to promote the project
- Ad hoc admin duties-dealing with e-mail and telephone queries, data input, maintaining a database
Time/ Hours: Flexible-Subject to negotiation with the volunteer coordinator
