Events Intern (Volunteer)
Duration: three to four months
Hours: minimum 3 days/week, but ideally full-timeWe are currently seeking an Events Intern to work within our small and busy Events team; primarily to assist with the administration of our existing events portfolio, but also to research new events and trends within the charity sector.
As well as a hands-on insight into working in the voluntary sector, and a fantastic opportunity for both personal and professional development, you will have a chance to make a real difference to the charity.
This is an unpaid position, although we will reimburse travel (up to London zone 6) and lunch expenses, and in addition you will receive:
- Supervision, coaching and support throughout the volunteer internship
- Full participation in the Fundraising team, including away days and training
- Access to the Anthony Nolan Trust’s internal vacancy list
- Access to the staff restaurant, and sports and social facilities
- A written reference on completion of the volunteer internship
