As a City Year corps member, you will serve full-time as a tutor and mentor in schools, running after-school programs, leading and developing youth leadership programmes to make a difference in the lives of children and their communities. You will need to dedicate Monday through Friday from approximately 8:30-4:30, for service in one primary or secondary school as well as the community.

Our volunteers (called corps members) serve in schools full-time as tutors, mentors, role models and leaders of after-school programmes. With City Year, you will make a difference every day. You will help children and schools, build strong friendships and benefit from in-depth training.
Benefits include:
• £100 per week for expenses + extra money to cover travel
• Up to £1,000 upon completion of the one-year programme

All applicants must:
• Be passionate about improving the lives of young Londoners • Be between the ages of 18-25
