One of our first City Year service days is right around the corner! This one-off volunteering event will be a great opportunity for young people to learn more about City Year while meeting other people in their area and giving back to the local community. In addition to our physical service with Thames21, there will be an opportunity to join us in the morning for an info session on City Year and a brief workshop/game around the environment in London. Volunteers will help with: removing litter from the canal-side area improving the area for residents and wildlife removal of some of the graffiti tags along the canal- painting of the towpath bridge Safety boots, gloves and all equipment will be provided, along with a safety briefing. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather and that you don't mind getting dirty! -
