Thanks to the snow, we have a great opportunity to identify and help individual households who are wasting money and energy via poor insulation! You may have noticed that early in the morning after a snowy night, some houses still have snow covered roofs whilst others are bare with snowless patches around chimneys or windows.This is a fantastically obvious indicator of how well the house is insulated! We need positive volunteers to take pictures of houses and roofs with snowless patches in their local area. These photographs will then be added to the dedicated Flickr page to form an online record of homes that need better insulation. You will then show the home-owner the photo along with some options to improve their insulation so they can save money and ultimately reduce their energy consumption and environmental impact! -
