As a Climate Squad regional press officer, you'll work creatively to maximise the media opportunities for Climate Squad events in your area. With support from the central team, you'll research and issue press releases, research case studies for marketing materials, and deal with media enquiries about local Climate Squad events. To make ourselves heard, it's important that we speak with one voice, so part of your job will be to make sure any communications fit with the key messages of Climate Squad. Part of your role could involve preparing volunteers for media interviews, and supporting them through the process. We would also like you to come along to Climate Squad events in your local area and report on what went on for the Climate Squad blog site and facebook page!
