More info
As the UK’s most hotly contested election in decades gets underway, over a million 16-17 year olds are stuck on the sidelines without a vote or a chance to have a say on issues that affect their future. The Co-operative and Media Trust believe young people should have a voice so we’re offering 3 people the opportunity to promote an issue, cause or campaign they feel passionate about. We’re looking for 3 articulate, energetic and committed young people. Winners will be offered guidance from mentors on debating, lobbying, journalism skills and be filmed promoting their cause to MPs and other decision makers-the resulting film aired on national TV! What are the key issues you think politicians should be doing more about? Do you have something to say about climate change or your local community? If you’re aged 16-17 years old and have a strong desire to create change, be it on a global or grassroots level we want to hear from YOU! -
