Our Community Leaders’ programme is aimed at 16-25 year olds who'd like to find out how to lead a project to tackle climate change, whilst also picking up some really useful skills like teamwork that employers look out for in potential employees.
After attending a training course, you would go on to run your very own carbon-cutting project in your local community, for which you would receive a UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) certificate. What’s more, you could work towards getting a BTEC WorkSkills Award by taking part.
And the best part? Aside from giving you the chance to run your own community project, it's absolutely FREE, and we’ll be covering your expenses. (Please note accommodation will not be provided, but we may be able to help you with any costs incurred from staying at a youth hostel, budget hotel, etc.).

Hi Maria, you'll be pleased to hear that you don't have to be part of a group or youth organisation to apply... we ask that question on the application form in order to find out if there are any links to follow up.

The link at the end of 'More info': "To find out more before you apply, please refer to the guide here: Community Leaders' Programme" is not working.
