Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Ed Miliband will take part to a public rally in Manchester, hosted by DECC and Friends of the Earth Manchester. This event is Ed Miliband’s last before he travels to Copenhagen, and is your chance to make sure your views are heard before one of the important climate conferences the world has ever seen. We need people to help with the event, including stewarding, roving mics, looking after the green room for speakers, and much more. If this could be you, get in touch! This session will be held on the evening of Tuesday 8 December in Manchester - more details will follow after registration. There will be short contributions from invited guests including Len Wardle from the Co-operative Group, a speaker on behalf of Friends of the Earth. The Leader of Manchester City Council has been invited to attend and will use this opportunity to launch the city's stakeholder climate change action plan, "Manchester: A Certain Future". -
