Greenprint to 2050 ~ the Climate Squad vision
What is the best way to get people to take action on climate change? ...
...by asking young people what we would ideally want the world to be like?
...using this vision to give people something positive to aspire to?
...and then using this vision to create achievable targets...so we can meet achievable goals?
...and by having fun?Well, this is exactly what we are hoping to achieve with the Greenprint to 2050 ~ the Climate Squad vision. And we need your help to make it!
Between now and August, we want your input to help create the vision of what you want 2050 to LOOK like, with comments falling into 6 themes which will form chapters for the Greenprint
- Education
- Health and Welfare
- Jobs and Employment
- Technology and Lifestyle
- Transport
- Leisure
Come along to the Greenprint to 2050 project launch event!
The event will include:
- A short speech from Trewin Restorick, Global Action Plan CEO
- Discussion groups based on the 6 Greenprint themes
- Debate session with a young panel of 6 guests (TBC)
- Lunch and refreshments throughout
