The date of our next Steering Group has now been set for Wednesday 28 July 10.30am – 3.30pm. We will be holding a Conservation Day in a beautiful walled garden on the River Fowey. Activities will include a nature walk, environmental games, raised bed building, horticulture and a BBQ! This event is designed for you to have a taste of environmental conservation and so that you can feedback to the Green V project on what we should be offering you as young volunteers. Transport can be provided from Camborne, Plymouth and Exeter.

The Green V Project offers 16 – 25 year olds a chance to gain invaluable experience working alongside environmental experts carrying out conservation and Horticultural work.

By attending events on a quarterly basis, you will be part of a lead team who will be the backbone of the Green V Project. Your team’s eco friendly ideas will be used to help promote and market the Green V Project and identify new environmental volunteering opportunities. Your experience on youth matters will be used to assist in the recruitment of other young volunteers from different backgrounds for the project.

This is your chance to make a difference to the environment that needs your help now more than ever. Experience something new, do something for nothing and get everything!

This role is only open to 16-25 year olds.
