The England & Wales Cricket Board Girls Junior Super 4’s Competition will at Wellington College, Berkshire. You do not need to volunteer for all the days, if you can make one day that would be great to have you in the team. The competition will be held on: Monday 16th August, Tuesday 17th August, Thursday 19th And Friday 20th August. Volunteer uniform will be provide (t-shirt) and all volunteers will receive refreshments and lunch during the day. Position Summary Provide support to ensure all scores and results of matches are recorded after matches and taken to the central results table. Training and support will be provided on site. Any other roles as required under events team. Outcomes · Set up and support results process. · Ensure event runs smoothly and athletes get a good experience. · Provide support in other areas of the event team as necessary. Tasks · Maintain an organised system of entering results of competition. · Receive, check and enter results. · Provide information to any competitor about the results. · Check with scorers if any results are questionable. · Liaise with team leader throughout shift. Qualities, Experience & Skills sought · No experience necessary. · An interest in sport and cricket is preferred but not desirable. · Working within the larger events team. · Organisational skills. · Reliable, enthusiastic, friendly. · Confident, ability to work on own initiative.
