    The best junior girl cricketers come and compete in the Lady Taverners Regional final competition. U13 and U15 girls will compete in two different competitions. You do not need to have cricket knowledge to be able to assist on the day.

     Volunteer uniform will be provide (t-shirt) and all volunteers will receive refreshments and lunch during the day.

    Outcomes

    ·         Ensure the smooth running of the fixtures on your pitch

    ·         Ensure event runs smoothly and athletes get a good experience.

    ·         Provide support in other areas of the sports team or with the sport director as necessary.

    Tasks

    ·         Score and keep check on the score of competitions.

    ·         Provide the Competition and Results team with the completed score.

    ·         Communicate with the officials to ensure all results, queries are dealt with in an appropriate manner.

    ·         Check if any results are questionable.

    ·         Liaise with event manager throughout shift.

     

    Qualities, Experience & Skills sought

     

    ·         No experience necessary.

    ·         Understanding of scoring is desirable.

    ·         An interest in sport and cricket is preferred but not desirable.

    ·         Working within the larger events team.

    ·         Organisational skills.

    ·         Reliable, enthusiastic, friendly.

    ·         Confident, ability to work on own initiative.

    Training Provision

    Training will be provided on site, and support will be available throughout.
