The best junior girl cricketers come and compete in the Lady Taverners Regional final competition. U13 and U15 girls will compete in two different competitions. You do not need to have cricket knowledge to be able to assist on the day.
Outcomes
· Set up and support registration.
· Ensure event runs smoothly and athletes get a good experience.
· Provide support within event team to dress and maintain site.
Tasks
· Set up pitches
· Maintain site appearance
· Liaise with team leader throughout the day
· Evaluation and feedback of experience the event organiser
Qualities, Experience & Skills sought
· No experience necessary.
· An interest in sport and cricket is preferred but not desirable.
· Learn how to work in a team.
· Organisational skills.
· Reliable, enthusiastic, friendly.
· Excellent communication skills – verbal.
· Confident, ability to work on own initiative.
Training Provision
Provided on site
Volunteer uniform will be provide (t-shirt) and all volunteers will receive refreshments and lunch during the day.
