On July 1st 2010 over 2000 school children will descend on Hampshire Cricket's international sports and music arena the Rose Bowl. WHAT'S OUR AIM? To INSPIRE young people to become active through cricket! WHAT'S GOING ON? * Twenty20 Cricket- the day revolves around two BIG-HITTING Twenty20 Cricket Matches (England Women Vs New Zealand Women followed by Hampshire Royals Vs Glamorgan Dragons). * Activity Centre- FUN! FUN! FUN! The activity centre will provide a variety of cricket and sports challenges run by qualified coaches to offer an alternative to watching the cricket. * On pitch cricket demonstration- a number of lucky young people will be selected o take part in an on-pitch cricket demonstration before the big games. WHAT'S YOUR ROLE? To support the Cricket Development team to plan, co-ordinate and run the event. You'll be responsible for producing an event program, organising the ACTIVITY CENTRE and distributing tickets to the schools involved. -
