The Durham Cricket Board has been working for some time in Special Needs Schools and in various organisations teaching youngsters with various disabilities and impairments all forms of Disability Cricket including some of the teams playing at the Riverside in the Regional Final of the Lords Taverners Table Cricket Competition. On Sunday the 4th July the Cricket Board has linked with the Durham Cricket Club to host the largest Pan Disability Cricket Family Fun Day held in the country at the Riverside in Chester-le-Street. The event is sponsored by nPower, sponsors of the England Cricket Team. Every family that includes someone with a disability or impairment in Durham County, Northumberland and North Yorkshire will be invited to take part in a free Disability Cricket Fun Day. Parking will be free to everyone within the ground. A full programme of matches and coaching of all forms of Disability Cricket will take Place. Help in all areas would be greatly appreciated -
