Life’s busy. You’ve got your mates, family, work and that’s even before you think about what YOU want! Choice FM, Galaxy FM and vinspired present: ‘I have a Choice’.
What is I have a Choice, we hear you say?
Well it’s your chance to volunteer with your favourite station. There are loads of things you can do from volunteering within sports, radio and events. The choice is endless…
We believe that every young person aged 16-25 has the right to get involved in volunteering especially those that might not normally think about it. Volunteering gives you the chance to gain new experiences, meet new people and acquire new skills. Along side our provider Catch 22 we aim to inject some ‘Street Chic’ into volunteering.
So if want the chance to get involved with this project you need to sign up quick! All you have to be is between 16-25 and available to give up to 30hrs of time.

v, The National Young Volunteers Service aims to inspire a new generation of volunteers (aged 16-25) in England. It does this by funding voluntary organisations all over England to create inspiring, diverse opportunities and by helping to overcome barriers that stop people from taking action to improve lives, communities and the planet. v is the independent charity behind vinspired.com.
Catch-22
At Catch-22 we work with young people facing tough challenges. They may be homeless, unemployed or offenders. For some young people, life can be a series of no-win situations - a catch 22. One thing leads to another until everything’s all tangled up and there seems to be no way out. We give young people the opportunity to learn, earn a living, have a safe place to live, steer clear of crime and give something back. Our volunteers, who live in the communities where we work, are vital in to helping the young people who need us.
When you volunteer with Catch-22 you become a positive role model for young people who benefit from knowing that you are interested in them - you may be the only person in their life who is not being paid to be there. Your committment can make all the difference.
