Interested in campaigns and want to contribute to shaping the future of our volunteering campaign? Would you like to learn more about campaigning and want the chance to spread the word about volunteering?!
The ‘I heart volunteering’ campaign was devised by v20, v’s youth advisory board, who thought ‘hmm, reckon we could make volunteering more famous?’ – so they did! Over a 6 week period (August - October) we recruited over 100 core campaigners on vinspired.com and with their help we’ve been able to raise the profile of volunteering on Facebook and Twitter and managed to get the snazzy logo snapped in loads of places. We’ve written to MPs, spread the word and added our stories to www.iheartvolunteering.org – the campaign website created by volunteers to support our message – that you guys are volunteering everywhere and the world should sit up and take notice of the great things you are doing in your community! If you’d like to do your part to ensure volunteering is continued to be supported then read on…
