More info
Alzheimer's Society has over 140 runners taking part in the Jane Tomlinson’s Leeds 10k on Sunday 8 July and we need lots of enthusiastic helpers to ensure they have the best possible experience! The 10km race is a short but large running event and we would ask for you to arrive at 8.00am for a short brief and to meet runners before the race starts at 9am until around 12pm when the final runners cross the finish line.
If you are free on Sunday 8 July and would like to help out we would really appreciate your support.
What is my role?
You will be stationed at the Alzheimer's Society charity marquee in the Charity Village in Millennium Square, a short distance from the start/finish line. You will work with a fully trained staff member meeting and greeting participants, saying thank you and well done and offering refreshments.
How will I be supported on the day?
You will be provided with a t shirt, snacks and water and a full brief will be given by a member of staff from Alzheimer's Society and will be on hand to answer any questions you have.
How much time do I need to commit?
Ideally we would like you to arrive at 8:00am for a short brief and to meet runners before the race starts at 9am until around 12pm when the final runners cross the finish line. However, any time you can commit to helping us is much appreciated. If you're free and would like to take part please contact Adam on adam.lewis@alzheimers.org.uk or call 020 7423 3514.
