Noise Action Squad volunteer

Loud music can damage hearing, permanently, and our ‘Loud music’ campaign uses hard hitting images to encourage music lovers to protect their hearing.

During Tinnitus Awareness Week, 4 – 10 February 2013, we will be visiting cities across the UK running noise squads - being part of a Noise Squad involves speaking to music lovers about looking after their hearing when listening to MP3 or personal music players, encouraging people to take our MP3 check and fundraising.

If you live in Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Nottingham or Sheffield, we'd like you to join us. We are looking for volunteers to join our Noise Action Squads who will visit these cities in early February 2013.

Join our noise squads in these cities to:

• Talk to music lovers about looking after their hearing
• Encourage people to check noise levels on their MP3 players
• Fundraise

Time & Location   

Monday 4 February 

We will be at London Waterloo Station (8am - 12noon). If you can attend for a couple of hours at any time between these times, we'd like to hear from you.

We'll also be in Bath from 10am-12noon.

We will be in Brighton & Bristol in the afternoon (2-4pm).

Tuesday 5 February

We will be in Liverpool and Birmingham in the morning (10am-12noon) and Manchester and Nottingham in the afternoon (2-4pm).

Wednesday 6 February

We will be in Leeds in the morning (10am-12noon) and Sheffield in the afternoon (2-4pm).
