Fundraising Ambassador - 'Clatterbridge your cancer centre'

‘Clatterbridge your cancer centre’ is the only charity that raises money to directly benefit the patients of Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology and its patients.

The main duties that the Fundraising Ambassador will be asked to undertake include

• Working in the office with the team (stuffing envelopes for mail shots, internet research to help the team develop fundrasing plans and proposals.
• Counting cash from collection tins & other general office admin.
• Helping at events, supermarket/street collections, bag packing.
• Managing collection tubs.
• Raising profile of the charity.
• Putting up event posters in newsagents/supermarkets/gyms/own place of work.
• Distributing newsletters.

• Encouraging other people to become involved with the charity and offering opportunities to others.

 We also desperatley need volunteers to set up fundraising groups and organise their own events to raise money for the Centre.

We will work with individuals to ensure that they are happy with the role and to ensure they are getting the best possible experience.

The Fundraising Ambassadors will have different skills dependent on what part of the role they would like to take on. For example, Ambassadors who would like to undertake administrative duties will have to demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, excellent communication and IT skills.
