More info
Becoming a Young Enterprise volunteer will challenge you – but the excitement and satisfaction of mentoring, of transforming attitudes and helping young people open their eyes to the world of enterprise keeps many of our volunteers coming back year after year.
As well as helping young people, our programmes also offer considerable benefits for the volunteers involved. Benefits for volunteers in supporting Young Enterprise:
• Develops confidence and self esteem· Improves presentation and communication skills
· Develops time management skills
· Enhances personal development plans
· Develops key management skills and broadens business understanding
· Gives exposure to a range of management challenges
· Makes a real contribution to the development of young people
· Can be used as evidence for “Continued Professional Development” (CPD) accepted by most major professional bodies
As well as working towards the v50 award you may also wish to receive recognition by completing online modules, ‘Learning by Volunteering’, in partnership with the Open University to gain a certificate from Young Enterprise.
