VINVOLVED YOUTH ACTION TEAMS IN ESSEX!

Make things happen in your area! Get young people's voices heard! Get a buzz, develop your skills, do someone a favour... join your local Vinvolved YAT!!

Youth Action Teams (YATs) are made up of volunteers aged 16-25 years who want to go that extra mile with their volunteering. 

YATs help by:

* Identifying community issues and developing projects to address them.

*Raising awareness and celebrating young people's achievements through volunteering. 

*Seeking young people's views about matters affecting them and their local community. 

*Inspiring organisations to involve young volunteers and getting feedback from young people on their volunteering.

YATs meet every few weeks in a location convenient to all and/or online.

Within the YAT there are various roles you could end up taking on, for example, Chairperson, Treasurer, Social Secretary etc. Or, the YAT can write its own roles!
