Campaign 2 - Birmingham Against Isolation

Loneliness is 'the hidden killer'  of older people.

How many people do you come into contact with on an average day? Can you believe that 50% of older people would say that the TV is their greatest companion, thats about 5 million people. You don't change when you're older, you still want to be with other people and it's so sad to think that 200,000 can't even get out of their own home to meet other people.

Together we can change this.

Team v is looking to find those isolated from society, put on some amazing events for them to enjoy whilst linjking them to pre-existing organisations and raising awareness of the issue in Birmingham!!!

Get involved by becoming a core team member and helping me with every stage of the campaign, or become a general volunteer and help when you can.
