Climate Squad events in June

Operation: Pump It Up

Join us on our brand new carbon-cutting project, which will be launched on World Environment Day 2010 (June 5), which is also Climate Squad’s first birthday!

What:               A one-off project to encourage people to make the little changes in their lives which result in big carbon savings. Teams of Climate Squad volunteers will be in two of Brent Cross shopping centre’s car parks asking drivers to let them pump up their tyres to the recommended level and thereby make fuel, cash and carbon savings (5-8% for each car with all its tyres pumped up).

When:              05 June, running from 11am to 6pm

Where:             Brent Cross Shopping Centre, North London

Sign up:           Email climate.squad@globalactionplan.org.uk or phone 020 7420 4441
