St. Ignatius Housing Association Limited
Saint Ignatius Housing Association Limited provides shared supported housing to single men and women who have suffered through homelessness. We provide support to our tenants in the following areas:
- Assistance with Housing Benefit and Social Security applications.
- Assistance in the development of personal and domestic life skills that enable an individual to maintain a tenancy, preventing homelessness.
- Support in locating training and employment opportunities, finding routes into local courses and jobs.
- Help in accessing primary and secondary healthcare services.
A significant proportion of our tenants are refugees who require support to cope with the benefits system and in accessing health and social care services. Many have language problems, and we provide support through interpretation services until their fluency in English improves.
The objective is to enable our tenants to achieve the goal of independent living, empowering these vulnerable and socially excluded individuals to establish a secure and sustainable home.
