Big Beyond organise skills-based volunteer programmes in Africa. 

We place ambitious and adventurous people from different professional or academic backgrounds in rural Africa for short or long term programmes and enable a rewarding platform for sharing knowledge, skills and experience.
All volunteer placements are bespoke and tailored to reflect the relevant experience and interests of each individual, as well as the locals projects.

We’re headquartered in the UK and currently run project sites in Uganda and Malawi and launching in Ethiopia later this year. They’re all located next to beautiful national parks and our volunteers work hand-in-hand with communities to integrate the conservation and development objectives of the local area. Volunteer involvement ranges from education, enterprise, environment, health or culture related projects.
