Arden Cancer Network
The Arden Cancer Network was established in April 2002. It is one of 28 or so cancer networks across England and covers a population of one million people (1,005,300). This population is split between Coventry (306,700), Warwickshire (526,700), and Redditch and Bromsgrove (171,900).
The function of the Arden Cancer Network is to implement the National Cancer Plan and Cancer Reform Strategy, delivering high quality cancer care across traditional geographical and organisational boundaries and ensuring equity of access and service provision and an improved patient experience. The Network is committed to doing this in consultation with patients and service users and their carers, cancer clinicians and local healthcare organisations - providing local input, vision, leverage and enthusiasm.
