Dorset Youth Association has a range of volunteering opportunities coming up in 2012.
National Citizen Service 2012 – summer activity programme for Year 11 (16 year old) students leaving school this year. Two free outdoor residentials where you will meet new friends and improve your teamwork and leadership skills. Take part in a social action project; receive media and communication training and make an IMPACT here in Dorset!
Fresh Start – a programme to engage young who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. Fresh Start will support you to find suitable accredited training and volunteering opportunities, offer you Information, Advice & Guidance and help you gain confidence and self-esteem through training packages, workplace visits and placements.
