Tribute 2 A Legend
The Tribute 2 a Legend Trust is a registered Charity (reg no. 1132423) and was established in 2009 in memory of the late England captain ‘Bobby Moore’. The charities main critera is to support:
1. The Deprived Kids Football Competition
This competition aims to encourage those from disadvantaged backgrounds (those subjected to drugs, poverty, discrimination and abuse) to get together and play football. It seeks to bring communities together through football and to inspire.
2. The Schools Freestyle Competition
To find the school to set a school record of having the most pupils in one location to "juggle" a football for at least 10 seconds on any part of their body except their arms and hands - without letting the ball touch the ground.
3. The Disability Equality Football Academy
To provide resources for those with disabilities that will benefit the whole disability community irrespective of age, sex, race, religion. It aims to show that loosing a limb doesn’t mean you can’t kick a ball like Beckham.
