The Phoenix Centre

We are an independant community venue and youth club, we are entirely volunteer run and we are also a registered charity.

We deliver a range of youth projects and operate a youth club two nights per and host the local skate and youth forums.

As a community centre we have Sure Start, a Caligraphy group, local bands, support groups and a host of other community groups using the centre. the income from the hires runs the entire project, we are not funded by anybody, not even our local councils.

We are also very environmentally friendly, the centre itself is basically a recycled building, we have rain water harvesting, lots of strange recycled materials, waterless urinals and lots of other intersting green things.

We are currently trying to set up a kitchen garden.
