Apple Pie Enterprises Ltd (Ape Media) is a Creative Industries Training, Event Management and Production Company Located in Stratford, London. We are a ‘not for profit ‘organisation based in the crypt of a church in East London! In the spooky corridors of the St John’s Church we come together to offer professional training courses , as well as to produce some of our best work: from Radio production courses, fashion shows featuring young up and coming creatives to dance, music and drama events and campaigns . As well as TV and Film Productions, Our ethos is ‘Developing Talent, Revitalising the Industry’.

The ultimate aim of Ape Media is to Develop Talent and Revitalise the Creative Industry by increasing the number of training opportunities for people to improve their skills for a career in the creative industries sector.

Ape Media has been working with young people and commercial organisations for the last 9 years, working with Pupil Referral Units, Youth Offending Team’s, youth clubs, community centres, schools and further education colleges. All our tutors are industry standard trained and bring a professional, yet fun and unique way of teaching and learning to each course or project we run. We work within the national framework set out by the government’s 14-19 education strategy; in relation to specialist diplomas. Ape Media in all our courses ensures the combination of academic and vocational learning.

o To develop and enhance “softer” skills such as team working, negotiation and leadership, and to promote the advantages of cooperation and collaboration.

o To develop research, problem-solving and practical skills and to encourage team and independent learning for all participants.

o To raise awareness of the available pathways and options post-16 and post-19 through collaborative pan UK partnerships.

o Development of programmes that support the DFE Literacy strategy in the speaking and listening strands

o Enabling individuals at all stages of their lives to pursue stimulating learning opportunities (Life Long learning).
