Volunteer Role Specification
Volunteer Opportunity Title: Volunteer DJ, London
Time Commitment:
Attending an induction session at the vInspired offices in London
Playlist preparation time, which will include a meeting and correspondence with your point of contact.
The afternoon and evening of the ceremony, which will take place on Thursday 22nd March.
Age Specification: 18-25
Travel and Expenses: We will provide travel, accommodation and basic expenses for volunteers living outside of London.
Role and Responsibilities:
- You will play sets throughout the evening of the vInspired National Awards ceremony on Thursday 22nd March 2012.
- You will need to play music to suit all the guests which will include stakeholders from well-known organisations, celebrities, and young volunteers. The sets will need to get everyone excited to be at the vInspired awards and celebrate young people’s achievements!
- Throughout the evening, the volunteer will be a representative of vInspired, and therefore will need to know the basic key messages and aims of the organisation, and will need to behave responsibly and respectfully.
PLEASE NOTE: We will provide decks, but not records! Skills and qualities:
DJing skills and experience
- Previous experience of DJing at a similar or equivalent event.
- Confidence DJing in front of a large audience
- A clear understanding of vInspired’s key messages and aims.
- Reliability
- Enthusiasm
- Adaptability
